The months following the summer holidays are always the busiest in the Taekwon-Do and Kickboxing calendar! So please be aware of all the upcoming events and dates of seminars and tournaments and gradings and the new 'Tracksuit day' !

There will be no training the week of July 1st to July 8th as we are away to the European Championships. Training will resume on Wednesday 9th July.

-TRACKSUIT DAY! The date has been organised for the 22nd July (Tuesday) for the educational trip to the Zoo. The day will include behind the scenes access with the Keepers and educational talks on the animals. We have called this a 'Tracksuit day' as the trip is being funded by the proceeds of the tracksuits sold to date. All students attending will have bought a club tracksuit.

September 21st - Lee Morrison is coming from England to teach a self defence course on dealing with knife situations. This seminar is limited to 30 spaces and with bookings already coming in, it is advised that anyone interested get their name down as soon as possible.

October 12th - We are hoping to have Master Nestor Gallaraga VIII Dan (8th degree) from Argentina for a Master Class on this date. Master Dalton is to confirm this in the near future. This is an event not to be missed!

A small team of Pilsung ITF competitors entered into the All Style Kickboxing Association of Ireland (AKAI) National kickboxing championships on Sunday 22nd June. The tournament was an ideal warm up for those heading off to the ITF European championships next week.
All competitors did exceptionally well in what was a tough but fair tournament, and with additional leg kicks it was a different system than we were used to. Congratulations to all that medalled, especially Neidin Coulahan who won gold after beating her opponent in the final on TKO (technical knock out) and Adam Quinn who was very stylish in the under 15's advanced and picked up a Silver against a much bigger opponent.
Also placed on the day was Craig Cullen who fought tremendously in the under 15's novice and won bronze, Alvydas Jankauskas who took silver but got a silly doctors stoppage for a little nose bleed and Martin Moylan who won bronze in the same section after stopping his man with a back kick.
